DJ Ham ProfileDJ Ham first discovered Hardcore back in 1990, at the age of 14. He listen to pirate radio stations like Pulse FM. "I loved this new
sound that was so different to any music up until that point.
The early 90's was one of the most experimental times in Hardcore's
history with some fantastic music being made, a lot of which is
still played now. At the time, everybody was into Hardcore and it
was absolutely massive. It was a fantastic time in my life that I
still think about now and still reminisce about with my mates." "My first gigs were for Labyrinth in Dalston in 1994. I did get nervous as I'd never played in a club before, I didn't really understand what was involved or what could go wrong. I played my set, with tracks like, Ray Keith - XLR8 and Slipmatt - Breaking Free and things went well. And his career didn't look back from there....... |
